When the Genting Group’s Resorts World Bimini launched its first cruise destination from Miami to the island of Bimini, it trusted Versonix to implement the top cruise, ferry and resorts reservation system in the world: Seaware.
The uniqueness of this new endeavor required Seaware’s patented flexible business rules engine, which dynamically adapts to changing market conditions. Versonix’ team set up the product, trained personnel on system operations, and had reservations and check-in ready in four weeks. Seaware was set up in Amazon cloud, which allows rapidly adjusting computer power to respond to passenger volume changes. With this cloud-based solution, there is no need to invest in expensive hardware, which quickly becomes outdated.
In addition to its reservation and check-in functionalities, Seaware allows passengers to go directly to port and purchase tickets and other services without a pre-existing reservation.
The combined experience of Versonix working with clients that include Disney Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line and Tallink Silja, as well as resorts such as Warner Leisure Hotels, made it the perfect partner for Resorts World in this ambitious project. With headquarters in Silicon Valley, Versonix international locations in St. Petersburg, London and Miami provide for 24/7 development, setup and support service.
